The Knot Best of Weddings Reviews: 2020 Wrap

To start the New Year, we would like to express our appreciation for our amazing couples, clients, and fellow vendors who got us through 2020. We were able to be a part of some incredible events and create amazing memories. If we learned one thing, it’s that love isn’t canceled. Our couples enthusiasm helped boost us into The Knot Hall of Fame (!!) and we feel incredibly lucky to kick off the New Year with a pep in our step and hope for many love stories ahead! With that spirit, we’d like to share some of our favorite reviews from our lovely clients and fellow vendors!

“In looking for a band, my husband and I kept hearing about Bachelor Boys from so many of our friends that had either used them at their own weddings or had seen them as guests at weddings they had attended!! When we went to see Bachelor Boys at one of their showcases, they did not disappoint!! They were incredible, and their pricing is so reasonable!! They were also super responsive, helpful in our planning, and flexible with our wedding timeline. We got so many compliments from our guests about how incredible the band was – amazing singing and so many comments on the horns!! We had such a blast on the dance floor – can’t recommend Bachelor Boys enough!!”

“I cannot say enough awesome things about The Bachelor Boys Band. My husband and I really, REALLY wanted a live band for our wedding reception and I was so pumped when we found The Bachelor Boys Band. They answered out inquiry instantly, and helped us every step of the way. They have a webpage for the couple to assist with coordinating everything, which really helped the process go smoothly. They provided the sound support for the wedding ceremony, which went off without a hitch, played during the cocktail hour, which I received a lot of compliments for, and played at the reception flawlessly. I feel like bands really help pump up guests, and it is something so different from a DJ. Overall, if you are debating between a band and a DJ, pick a band, more specifically The Bachelor Boys Band.”

“Here’s the deal, brides (and grooms, and event planners, and parents): If you’re even considering having a band at your wedding, book these guys. We chose the Bachelor Boys for our wedding after attending one of their showcases in Arlington, VA. Almost immediately, we knew they had the sound, the talent, and the fun attitude we were looking for. And with lots of options about how many musicians you can include for your event, there were a variety of price points that we knew could work. On the day, every single thing went off without a hitch — not to mention that the dance floor was packed the entire night. They’re talented, they’re a joy to work with, and man, can they play some great music. The Bachelor Boys learned three requested songs for us – including one with some modified lyrics and one for our first dance that’s fairly obscure but held a lot of meaning for us. They performed them flawlessly. They also didn’t bat an eye when I asked a few months before the wedding if a talented singer friend could perform with them for one song. The MC did beautifully, introducing the wedding party exactly to our specifications and keeping the events of the evening flowing well. Weeks later, guests are still talking about how great the band was. “Where did you FIND these guys?” one out-of-town music buff guest asked me during the reception. “I will start by saying this was one of the best decisions we made – hiring this band to play at our wedding. Our goal the entire time was to have the whole wedding dancing and that’s exactly what they did. Right from the start they were extremely professional, timely and worked with us to give us everything we wanted. The band page was easy to navigate – even our coordinator said it was the best page she had seen from a band! They were absolutely terrific from start to finish. They helped coordinate and give us sound support for the ceremony and made the rest of the night run smoothly. We got so many compliments on how EXCELLENT the band was and how happy we were to see everyone on the dance floor all evening long! They sounded amazing and they played a wide variety of music. Even with all the special requests we had, they had no problem going with the flow and making it happen. We can’t say enough good things about them so we still stick with – this was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!
